Alfonso de la Torre
From sculpting clay at age 4 in Mexico to designing creatures for Hollywood blockbusters, Alfonso brings imagination to life like few others in the industry.
Currently based in the USA, Alfonso’s journey began with passion, not formal training — eventually leading him to graduate with honors from the prestigious ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, where he was mentored by legends like Scott Robertson, Neville Page, and Nick Pugh.
His career launched early, working on MIB 3 under the legendary Rick Baker, and quickly led to roles at top studios such as:
▪️ Rhythm & Hues
▪️ Paramount Pictures
▪️ Tau Films (as Art Director)
▪️ Weta Digital
▪️ Legacy FX, JAMM, Method Studios, MPC and more
Credits include: Ant-Man, Star Trek Into Darkness, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, King Kong: Skull Island, and many other top titles across film, games, and commercials.
